I presumed this would be the natural outcome of Mikey getting us named as
The Offical Newsgroup for Euro 2004. I presumed we'd get the job for
Germany 2006 followed by offical FA froup status. I could see lucrative
sponsorship deals coming through, 'UKSF, the Froup of Champions' and all
that. Man, I thought we'd all be owning Aston Martin's and holiday homes
in the Azores by 2008.

UKSF would end up with it's own syndication deal through the ESPN Sports
Network. 'Ask Poleson' would regularly rate as the Channel's top quiz
show, Mikey would naturally take up a role as chief presenter in the
hilarious remake of 'What's my line' and Ben's 'Extreme Makeover' would
take reality television to unforeseen heights of extreminess (but OTWBFH
obviously).

It's been a disappointing 12 months. If I wasn't such an optimistic bloke
I'd suspect that maybe it wasn't going to happen at all and life would
just carry on and on and on like this with no success or cool stuff
happening forever until we die.
