How can you say that? I've thought long and hard about this, and of course I
mean it!

Where the hell do you think I've been for the last three weeks?
You know, I've learnt a whole load of useful stuff recently. Stuff about
love, life, relationships with newsgroups, family (the ones you inherit and
the one's you post to) and most of all myself, and one thing that came from
all of it was that I really, really love you lot. Not just the regulars, the
Mikeys, the Tigers, the Crankshaws, no, but the whole newsgroup. Everyone,
the boys, the girls, the sock-puppets, the trolls, the crossposters, the
spammers, the lot. You're all bloody lovely.
On top of this, I've learnt that alt.games.dreamcast are insensitive
bastards who never give compliments and don't like paying for dinner, I've
discovered that rec.arts.tv.uk.comedy are not the least bit interested in
commitment, that talk.politics.tibet have way too much emotional baggage and
worst of all that rec.sport.soccer (who I found more than a little
attractive at first) are very, very boring. Lovely people, but no fun at all
on a night out.
"The Football Tactics Museum"? FFS!!!
Worst weekend of my life.
